The Roatan Institute for Marine Sciences offers special package rates to students participating in a structured program and escorted by a professor.  Students are housed at Anthony's Key Resort and have access to all resort amenities, including the full-service dive shop, underwater photo center and hyperbaric chamber and medical clinic. The proximity of living and working conditions is ideal and maximizes the effectiveness of the program.

What's Included:

  • Accommodations at Anthony's Key Resort
  • Full American meal plan – 3 meals daily
  • Use of 42 ft dive boat with captain, divemaster and UW naturalist
  • Two boat dives daily with use of tanks, weights and belts
  • One night boat dive per week
  • Unlimited shore diving off the backside of Anthony's Key
  • Lectures offered by RIMS staff on a variety of marine topics
  • Large air-conditioned classroom with a/v equipment
  • Well equipped dry and wet laboratories
  • Specimen collections and reference library
  • Use of waterproof marine identification guides
  • Admittance to the Roatan Museum
  • One dolphin swim per student
  • One half day cultural or science related bus trip per week
  • Use of recreational services and facilities at Anthony's Key Resort (Use of water sports equipment and picnics on the beach and key)
  • Onsite clinic and recompression chamber with doctors on call 24 hrs
  • Escorted round-trip airport transfers 

Anthony's Key Resort offers a complimentary land package to the professor for every 11 paying students. A minimum of 11 students required to conduct a group.
