Step 1: Submit Your Application

Before applying, visit the Important Dates & Deadlines page to inquire about upcoming internship dates.

Once you have confirmed the dates, complete and submit the application form located at the bottom of these instructions. The RIMS Internship Application is an electronic document that can be filled out and submitted online.

Step 2: Submit your transcript

Submit an up-to-date transcript from your university. Unofficial transcripts are accepted, but must be in PDF format.

Email your transcript to the address for your internship program:

Step 3: Submit your references

​

Provide two letters of reference from a professor or job supervisor. One letter must be from a professor who has taught you in a science-related class or supervised you in a research capacity. Your references must email their letters directly to the address for your internship program:

It is your responsibility to ensure both reference letters are received by the posted deadline. Your application will be considered complete only after we have received your application form, transcript, and both reference letters. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Please submit all materials by the deadline.
